Job description

New Home Sales Connection is looking for reliable, professional Mystery Shoppers to evaluate the customer experience at new home communities.

This is a flexible, independent opportunity that is ideal for individuals who are observant, dependable, comfortable interacting with sales professionals, and able to follow a specific shopping scenario while remaining discreet.

Mystery shoppers pose as prospective home buyers and visit new home communities to help us evaluate the sales experience. Assignments vary by location and client needs, and shoppers can accept opportunities that work with their availability.

Types of Mystery Shops

Video Mystery Shops

Video mystery shoppers pose as potential home buyers and visit a new home community just as a real prospective buyer would. You will meet with a new home sales professional, tour the model home and/or community, ask questions, and participate naturally in the sales presentation.

Video shops require the use of a PV500 button camera to discreetly record the interaction. Shoppers must be comfortable operating the equipment and maintaining a believable buyer scenario throughout the visit.

These assignments allow New Home Sales Connection and our clients to evaluate the complete customer experience, including the greeting, discovery questions, sales presentation, product knowledge, model home tour, closing techniques, and overall interaction.

Registration Shops

Registration shops are quick assignments that do not require a camera and typically involve an interaction of approximately 5 minutes.

The shopper visits a new home sales center posing as a potential buyer. The primary goal is to determine whether the sales professional is consistently following important sales procedures, including:

  • Properly registering all prospective buyers who enter the sales center
  • Gathering appropriate customer information
  • Engaging the shopper in a professional manner
  • Asking the shopper to schedule a second appointment or take the next step

Registration shops are a great option for shoppers who enjoy short, straightforward assignments or who are new to mystery shopping.

Company Description

The average sales person is asking less than 15 questions throughout a shop. Imagine what remains uncovered without the mystery shopping process? Now picture how many sales you could be losing. Life's a mystery. Sales don't have to be.

Our mystery shopping programs provide simple, objective observations of your new home sales team through the eyes of professional, undercover shoppers. The end result? More sales.
