Job description

We are looking for Mutuel Clerks to work the 2026 Summer Racing Season! Betting/Mutuel Clerks will be paid $17.77/hr. The position is seasonal and is from July 3rd, 2026 to September 7th, 2026.

Mutuel/Betting Clerk Job Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Betting/Mutuel Clerks will sell, check and cash mutual tickets at a ticket window. Clerks must be able to make quick manual calculations in a very fast-paced environment and provide a high level of customer service to guests placing bets at the windows.
  • Qualified candidates will be professional and personable. Experience as a cashier or bank teller is helpful. OTB experience is a plus. Clerks must be 18 years of age. They also must have 3 years of significant cash handling experience.
  • All Betting Clerks are required to be licensed by NYS Racing and Wagering Board, which must be completed prior to training.
