Come join the team at Nick Rail Music - Redlands oldest full line music store! We are looking for an energetic leader for our retail store! Nick Rail Music specializes in school music education offering name brand rentals, professional repairs, private lessons, and more!


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all store functions
  • Promote and maintain a friendly, positive work environment
  • Ensure employee and customer safety
  • Oversee repair staff and floor employees
  • Maintain store display integrity
  • Oversee daily store money count and bank deposit
  • Responsible for a positive customer experience
  • Resolve all employee and customer disputes
  • Execute and disseminate all company initiatives and goals
  • Coordinate with buyer in store product/sales training
  • Serve as back up for store ed reps for absences, deliveries
  • Develop relationships with local school directors
  • Oversee private lesson program; develop teacher relationships
  • Oversee all store opening and closing procedures
  • Oversee all store maintenance; communicate regularly and consistently with corporate management on any needs or issues
  • Conduct annual store personnel reviews
  • Responsible for hiring and firing of store personnel; will have direct and weighted input of hiring and firing of store ed reps and repair staff
  • Coordinate all in store events
  • Develop ongoing training for store staff
  • Music background is required. Management experience preferred. Spanish speaking a plus!

Job Type: Full-time
