Job description

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours
Position Summary:
This position serves to assist the Music & Worship ministry in carrying out Denton Bible
Church's mission and message through music. In addition, performs administrative duties
related to the Music & Worship ministry.
Essential Duties:
- Assist Worship Pastor with weekly orchestra rehearsals, choir rehearsals, and Sunday
worship services.
- Create arrangements and orchestrations for the choir and orchestra.
- Work with Adobe Creative Suite to create a weekly newsletter to choir and orchestra
- Coordinate maintenance of the ever-growing music library and equipment, including
music materials, supplies, instruments, etc.
- Assist Worship Pastor with worship service preparations and implementation.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks related to the Music Ministry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
- Ability to work with Word, Excel, and Finale, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of music theory
- Ability to play at least one musical instrument
- Ability to direct and lead choir or other ensembles
