Position Purpose:

Responsible for setting technical product strategy and leading the execution of large-scale software, data, and integration initiatives across Stem and Concord. This position translates complex business, supply chain, catalog, financial, and operational needs into scalable product architectures, roadmaps, and measurable delivery plans.

The Director of Technical Product Management will own strategic integrations between Stem and Concord, guide the development of high-value AI-enabled products and rapid prototypes, and establish secure, repeatable practices for AI-assisted software development. The role will partner closely with senior business and technology leaders to align priorities, resolve cross-functional dependencies, and deliver reliable solutions that can scale across the broader Concord organization.

This is a contract, remote position that works under general direction of the VP of Product and Engineering through 2026.


What you’ll do:

• Lead Stem and Concord integration initiatives across catalog, financial, and infrastructure systems.
• Define requirements and align stakeholders across Stem, Concord, and technical delivery teams.
• Keep integration milestones on track and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Design solutions for broader use so new capabilities can scale across Concord.
• Lead the development and launch of at least one AI-enabled tool that solves operational problems.
• Define how AI-built software is maintained and governed so it can evolve safely.
• Create a roadmap for future AI-generated software opportunities across Concord.
• Establish secure AI-assisted development practices for internal and contracted engineering teams.
• Document approved tools and guidelines with Product, Engineering, and Security.
• Lead training and adoption efforts across Concord teams.
• Measure results against integration milestones, scalability goals, and delivered business value.
• Report portfolio progress, risks, and investment recommendations to executive leadership.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 7-10+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience, including at least five years in technical product or program management.
• A record of owning product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for complex technical products.
• Experience delivering large-scale software and system integrations from concept through launch and ongoing operation.
• Strong technical fluency in system architecture, APIs, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Experience with complex supply chain systems and the operational workflows that connect them.
• The ability to lead technical discussions and make informed decisions about architecture, scope, risk, and tradeoffs.
• Experience writing clear product requirements with measurable success criteria.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous environments, including balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability.
• The ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without relying on direct authority.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and rapid prototyping.
• An understanding of the security, governance, and maintenance requirements for production software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical or business discipline.

Pay Rate: $16,667/month
