Job Description

MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join our growing practice in Florence, SC - close to beautiful beaches! The provider will work in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists. This role will focus primarily on major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesia; but may include general surgery and ASC cases as well.

We will provide:

  • Competitive base compensation for 40 hours + additional hourly call pay
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
  • Occurrence Malpractice Coverage

  • 7 weeks PTO, increasing to 8 weeks in year 3
  • $2,500 CME allowance + 3 days off

Minimum Training, Education, and Experience:

  • Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

  • Must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.
