Step into Your New Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Municipal Engineer. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
  • Prepare or modify plans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and cost and quantity estimates for public works projects.
  • Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.
  • Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule.
  • Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required.
  • Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred/desired.
  • Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred.
  • Previous roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers and water distribution design experience desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
