The Division Finance Manager contributes to the financial results of a multi-billion-dollar, multinational company by serving as a trusted advisor to Division and Region leadership to improve financial performance and support long-term business goals. Under the direction of the Division Finance Director, the DFM provides financial analysis and guidance across key areas such as revenue and cost management, headcount planning and asset/fleet management. This role plays a key part in delivering financial training to Branch Managers and other Branch personnel while partnering with Region and District management to interpret financial data, identify performance opportunities, and recommend corrective actions to achieve desired results.

What you'll do:

  • Support operational excellence throughout the Region:

    • Partner with Regional, District, and Branch leaders to improve business results within the assigned area of specialization.

    • Promote financial best practices through field training, timely communication, and practical tools for managers.

    • Recommend controls, process improvements, and system enhancements to strengthen financial performance.

    • Partner with Region and District leadership to analyze staffing levels and headcount needs, providing financial insight to support effective resource planning and business performance.

Support implementation of strategic objectives:

  • Lead completion of monthly forecasting and annual planning processes at the Region level while reviewing District and Branch submissions and providing guidance to support accuracy, consistency, and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Monitor and track progress against strategic objectives and initiative goals.

  • Prepare concise research, trend analysis, models, and recommendations for management review.

Provide strategic guidance in evaluating financial results:

  • Analyze and interpret financial results and key metrics, including rates, utilization, sales/margin and fleet mix.

  • Evaluate business value using financial statements, discounted cash flow models, accretion/dilution analysis, and related analytical tools.

  • Identify opportunities and barriers with operational management and recommend corrective actions to achieve desired results.

  • Support the field-level close process by partnering with Region, District and Branch leadership to review financial results, validate key activity, and identify required adjustments or follow-up actions to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
