Four One Seven is a regional lifestyle company in southwest Missouri. The multimedia company owns and produces 417 Magazine, Biz 417, 417mag.com, biz417.com, 417 Custom Publishing and high impact thought leadership events.
Four One Seven is looking for an Operations Coordinator who owns the day-to-day execution across office operations, circulation, culture and team experience, administrative coordinator, and finance support.
This role is highly hands-on and service-oriented, serving as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, office vendors, and partners. This position ensures the office runs smoothly, leads company culture initiatives, and owns the subscriber experience. Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS OF POSITION
Office Operations & Facilities:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
  • Happily greet and assist all visitors
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor, forecast and purchase office supplies and run other errands as needed
  • Organize and host weekly and monthly staff meetings, holiday events, and #417culture initiatives, with approval and support from Operations Manager
  • Manage cloud-based phone system to be effective for callers and internal staff
  • Maintain an organized and functional storage unit

Circulation & Finance
  • Own the circulation CRM system, including subscriber data entry and system maintenance
  • Generate leads for Professional Subscription program, actively reaching out and pitching to businesses
  • Manage magazine archives, resources and in-office distribution
  • Serve as customer relations contact for subscriber questions
  • Deliver magazines to applicable newsstands
  • Coordinate gift subscription donations
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow and payment processing, including in-office transactions and incoming revenue
  • Support financial operations by recording payments, tracking invoices, and coordinating with external finance partners
  • Scan and log necessary transactions into QuickBooks Online
  • Be the main point of contact for internal finance manager

Departmental Support
  • Assist Operations Manager with onboarding new hires
  • Generate new leads for plaque sales program, actively calling and offering products available
  • Own online shopping platform and coordinate merchandise inventory and order fulfillment, including internal fulfillment for sales team as needed
  • Support marketing and events team with day-of support
  • Support leadership team, especially Publisher and VP of Operations, as needed
  • Oversee and manage the VP of Operations' email inbox by monitoring incoming communications, prioritizing messages, drafting responses as appropriate, and ensuring timely follow-up on key items.
  • Additional duties as required
