Enable safety monitor subsystem integration and multimedia bring up — audio and camera — for the AMD infotainment dev kit platform as part of the Ok2Book proof of concept.

Responsibilities
• Integrate and validate safety monitor subsystem on AMD infotainment dev kit platform (watchdog, error detection, FTTI)
• Own camera subsystem bring up: MIPI CSI-2, ISP integration, V4L2, camera HAL, frame capture validation
• Own audio subsystem bring up: codec integration, ALSA, audio HAL, latency measurement
• Interface with AMD on safety and multimedia driver support
• Validate ISO 26262-aware safety mechanisms against Ok2Book acceptance criteria
• Document multimedia and safety bring-up state for program gate review

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 7+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development
• Camera bring up: MIPI CSI-2, V4L2 driver stack, ISP integration, Camera HAL
• Audio bring up: ALSA, audio HAL, codec integration (I2S, SoundWire, HDMI ARC)
• Safety subsystem integration: watchdog, health monitors, ASIL-aware SW development
• Linux kernel, multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, camera2 API)
• C/C++, Python/Rust

Preferred Qualifications
• ISO 26262 ASIL-B or higher safety development
• Android camera or audio HAL experience (AAOS / AOSP)
• AMD multimedia driver stack familiarity
• Multi-camera pipeline or surround-view system experience

Salary Range
• $130,000 - 140,000
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
