What you'll do

  • Strategic, Visual Storytelling:Craft compelling written and multimedia content that reflects Weir's mission, values, and priorities. You will be responsible for end-to-end communication programs, blending high-level strategy with hands-on execution to deliver sharp, visual storytelling.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with global and divisional teams including HR, sales, operations, supply chain, engineering, and executive leadership. Influence outcomes through strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Project Leadership:Architect and manage communication strategies, write content, and design visuals. You will lead projects that balance immediate deliverables with longer-term strategic goals.

  • Strategy and Continuous Improvement:Develop innovative recommendations and design processes to enhance communication effectiveness beyond current practices.

  • Tool Proficiency:Utilize and manage digital marketing and communication tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, email marketing software, and interactive content displays.

  • Community and Public Relations:Act as a thought partner to maximize thought leadership, media presence, and community engagement.

  • Daily Role:You will spend your days writing, designing, planning, and delivering strategic communication priorities, often managing multiple tasks fluidly.

  • Success Metrics:Success will be measured by your ability to deliver impactful communication programs that engage stakeholders and support business objectives.

  • Travel Requirements:Minimal to no travel required; occasional attendance at events outside regular hours once per quarter.

What you'll bring
Must-haves:

  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications including internal and external communications.

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills combined with proficiency in digital communication tools including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms.

  • Proven ability to balance short-term deliverables with strategic planning and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or trades-related industries.
