Job description

Supports the instructional design, educational curation, and strategic maintenance of learning experiences for ACEP Anytime and other digital learning channels. Creates and transforms original multimedia content, conference recordings, webinars, presentations, and educational materials into engaging, accessible learning experiences. Supports content publication, platform administration, and technical troubleshooting to ensure high-quality content delivery and an optimal learner experience

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

Transform source materials to create educational video, audio, and digital learning content for ACEP's educational channels, including the creation of original content and the recording, editing, formatting, and transformation of conference recordings, webinars, presentations, documents, and other educational assets into engaging formats optimized for ACEP Anytime and other distribution channels.

Guide the assigned project through production planning, content organization, video editing, motion graphics development, branding integration, audio enhancement, and preparation of final deliverables for publication and distribution.

Supports live and recorded educational webinars, including configuring webinars, managing audio and video sources, moderating technical aspects of products, providing real-time troubleshooting support, and capturing content for on-demand use.

Collaborates with subject matter experts, faculty, and presenters to optimize digital pedagogy; design educational content; analyze performance data; coordinate technical checks and recording requirements; and advise on best practices for creating high-quality digital media.

Organizes, maintains, and updates delivery schedules and digital asset libraries, ensuring educational content is organized, maintained, and published in alignment with College initiatives, strategic priorities, and current evidence-based information.

Supports the administration and performance of learning platforms and content delivery systems by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues that may impact content availability or the learner experience.

Ensures all produced content meets ACEP quality, branding, and digital accessibility standards, including captioning, ADA and Section 508 compliance, and consistent audio and video quality across all educational programs.

Maintains expertise in digital learning, instructional design trends, and educational media platform; evaluates emerging tools and recommends enhancements to elevate educational effectiveness.

Provides support to enhance the content creator and user platforms to enhance engagement and experience .

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in media production, communications, education, instructional technology, or a related field.

Three or more years of experience in video and multimedia production.

Proficiency with audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or equivalent).

Experience with digital publishing, content management, and learning platforms.

Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and communication skills.

Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Education and Experience

Familiarity with issues in healthcare and/or emergency medicine.

Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with members, faculty, volunteers, and staff.

Proficiency with livestreaming, animation tools, or motion graphics.

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or advocacy content.

Experience with using AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
