Job description

Title: Manufacturing Quality and Safety Project Manager
Location: Hybrid - 50% on-site presence (includes frequent travel to TX and OK
Duration: 6 months
Description:
 
  • Define and maintain project charters, plans, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Establish and manage governance frameworks across IT, OT, and Operations teams.
  • Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Plant Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and vendors.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align objectives.
  • Provide clear project updates to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Coordinate installation of IoT devices, sensors, and integration with SCADA, PLCs, CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP PM).
  • Oversee deployment of analytics dashboards and alerting tools.
  • Manage external providers delivering sensors, integration platforms, and predictive models.
  • Ensure technical validation, change control, and compliance.
  • Drive adoption of new digital tools and processes on the shop floor.
  • Develop and deliver training plans and workshops for end-users and maintenance teams.
  • Support development, localization, and ongoing updates of IT system documentation and workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to governance policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Follow CCSWB and partner methodologies and guidelines.
  • Travel within Texas and Oklahoma as needed for on-site support and training.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
 
  • 5 years of project management experience in digital manufacturing or IT/OT integration projects.
  • Proven ability managing multi-site industrial projects is a plus.
  • Hands-on knowledge of IoT, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance deployments.
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT), SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and shop floor sensors.
  • Experience with MES, CMMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), edge computing, and data pipelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with data teams on machine learning or analytics models.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity standards such as NIST and IEC 62443.
  • PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Experience with AI/ML predictive maintenance platforms like Uptake, Augury, PTC ThingWorx, or Siemens Insights Hub.
