We are hiring Multimedia Integration Manager - Hybrid for a Contract position in new york, NY
Role Overview
This role sits with significant business and technology exposure requiring rapid, structured, and creative thinking to support the dynamic needs of the business. Multimedia is expected to own problems, take responsibility for its systems, and share in the commitment across Technology & Data to deliver excellent service to the business. Whether designing and installing resilient, scalable, low-latency solutions to support business applications, or providing an end-to-end service model for the delivery of external connections, Multimedia/WTS constantly works to maintain a competitive advantage within the industry.
The Integration Manager reports to the Multimedia regional head of Projects, Integration & Maintenance. This role will specifically manage the transition of Multimedia systems to a newly created IoT network. The program is complex, and the successful candidate must be capable of managing several phases of the project at any one time. The work will need to be managed both within and outside of normal hours, and flexibility from the successful candidate will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Multimedia Integration Project Team Duties
Attend all internal, local, and global Multimedia project team meetings
Maintain internal, local, and global project trackers and status reports
Provide project pipeline reports for budgeting purposes
Maintain project cost reports
Attend Multimedia department, local and global, team meetings as requested or appropriate Integration Project Delivery
Oversee and direct all phases of integration project delivery to Multimedia's global standards and processes, including:
Business unit engagement and gathering of internal client requirements
Providing internal recommendations and quotations
Budgeting
Project scheduling
Resource planning
Solution and design engineering (as part of an internal team in partnership with the Multimedia Infrastructure team)
Engagement with the internal sourcing team
Installation vendor engagement and management
Integration RFP production
RFP review
Cost control and reporting
Drawing and schematic review and approval
Use of procurement platforms for RFP production and purchase orders
Vendor quality control
Change order review and approval
System commissioning and handover
Turnover coordination with support teams (where relevant)
Liaison across general contractors, electrical contractors, furniture contractors, etc., prior to and during Multimedia/AV installation
Partnering with Multimedia Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to ensure consistency with operational, support, infrastructure, and technical requirements
Monitoring project performance, ensuring variances and issues are understood and properly addressed
Troubleshooting and providing direction/solutions during design and implementation
Mitigating project risks
Managing internal expectations
Reviewing and approving vendor invoices for payment
Arranging, coordinating, and managing project vendor meetings, agendas, minutes, and punch lists
Attending all necessary project review meetings
Punch list production, oversight, and resolution across all relevant trades
Time logging in the project/portfolio management system
Maintaining all project documentation following standard Multimedia processes
Archiving project documentation for support teams, including bills of materials into the asset register, and as-built schematics and architectural plans/elevations into maintenance folders
Required Skills
Project management qualification
Broadcast systems design, project delivery, and commissioning experience
InfoComm CTS-I qualification
Previous experience as a project engineer/manager
Extensive knowledge of audiovisual systems and videoconferencing technology
Understanding of operational processes and procedures
Proven track record delivering corporate AV projects to specification
Strong logistical and resource planning skills
Technical understanding and manufacturer training on core products, including but not limited to Cisco (videoconferencing), Polycom, Crestron, Extron, Panasonic, NEC, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Clockaudio
Strong teamwork and influencing skills
Good communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
Estimated Pay Range: 70-80/hr
