Position Overview:

The Production Assistant supports the production team by assisting with video production, editing, equipment setup, and live or recorded productions. This position requires a motivated individual with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills who can work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative production environment. Work is performed in both studio and field production environments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Assist with studio and remote productions by setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment.
  • Support production crews during live and recorded events.
  • Assist with the preparation, organization, and transportation of production equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inventory of production equipment.
  • Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and setup of production equipment.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel to production locations.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience with video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable professional editing software is preferred.
  • Previous experience in television, video production, live event production, or multimedia production is preferred but not require
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Basic knowledge of television, video, or multimedia production equipment and workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as production schedules require.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move production equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and productivity.
