Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Video Editor to create engaging visual content that strengthens the company brand, promotes equipment, highlights customer stories, and supports marketing communications.

The role is primarily focused on video editing, with occasional involvement in studio and field shoots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit video content for social media, promotional campaigns, customer stories, and editorial-style productions.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, and external agency partners.
  • Organize, curate, edit, and catalog footage for the internal video library.
  • Assist with in-studio and field video shoots.
  • Operate video equipment and assist with lighting, audio, and production setup.
  • Manage post-production workflows, file organization, formats, codecs, and deliverables.
  • Support customer-experience initiatives, market research, and digital product/service development.
  • Complete assigned projects within established timelines and quality standards.

Time Allocation

  • 70%: Video editing
  • 20%: Assisting video shoots
  • 10%: Studio support

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of video editing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Experience with professional cinema cameras such as Sony, Canon, or Panasonic
  • Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, transcoding, and exports.
  • Basic knowledge of video lighting, audio, and production equipment.
  • Proficient with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic audio editing skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift/carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Portfolio/demo reel required with application.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Motion graphics, 2D/3D animation experience.
  • Experience producing promotional, commercial, and social-media content.

Education

  • 4-year university degree or equivalent work experience in: Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Videography, Related field

Work Environment

  • Primarily based at the company's 50,000 sq. ft. studio in East Moline, IL.
  • Occasional field work and travel.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
