Job Description Summary & Additional Information

Organization's Summary Statement:

This position is responsible for coordinating and producing multimedia resources, video, audio, graphics, and photography for a department or college.Coordinates production of multimedia resources. Produces course-related media for instructors. Implements a production process and evaluation protocol to measure success. Other duties as assigned.

Preferences:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro) and other design or video tools (e.g., Canva, After Effects, Camtasia, or similar).

  • Proficiency in GSuite and MS Office Suite, particularly Google Slides and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.

  • Familiarity with STEM disciplines sufficient to translate technical content into clear visuals.

  • Familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS preferred.

  • Experience designing visuals for narrated or instructor-led videos preferred.

  • Ability to be creative, flexible, and innovative in design while following accessibility standards.

  • Experience in collaborating with teams and clients.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, self-direction, and self motivation.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
