Job description

TCW Radio & Digital wants someone ready to begin an exciting career in the radio and digital marketing industry telling radio client and community stories in the Whitesburg area. TCW Radio uses legacy and traditional radio and digital, multi-media platforms to promote and grow local businesses and advance the footprint of Forcht Broadcasting Whitesburg. We are not looking for someone who uses a standard, "cookie-cutter," approach to presenting radio and digital advertising experiences. We want an individual who is motivated and who understands each radio client and radio and digital marketing campaign is different. Our new Multi-Media Account Executive will use on-air and digital radio experiences to present advertising solutions to clients in our Whitesburg market and beyond and will work to grow business for the TCW group of stations.
Qualified candidates should have at least 2-years sales experience, digital sales experience preferred. Having a post-secondary degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred but is not a requirement to submit a resume for the career opportunity. The Multi-Media Account Executive will be expected to do the following:
1.) Understand broadcast radio and digital sales and how both work together to develop effective advertising solutions
2.) Develop successful advertising and marketing solutions and campaigns for clients using multi-media platforms
3.) Schedule meetings with clients to discuss radio and digital marketing opportunities with TCW Radio
4.) Write client script copy for on-air radio spots and the digital dashboard
5.) Meet monthly sales goals and assist the market General Sales Manager in creating and meeting monthly market goals and in developing new campaigns for clients
6.) Engage in professional development opportunities provided and paid for by Forcht Broadcasting Radio & Digital, which includes taking online digital marketing courses from the Radio Advertising Bureau
7.) Find new advertising partners and set appointments for advertising solutions meetings with new clients
8.) Represent TCW Radio at various community activities and meetings such as chamber of commerce meetings, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and etc.
Compensation will reflect sales and work experience. A competitive package will be offered to qualified candidates.
