About the Role
Catface is looking for a Multimedia Content Specialist to create high-quality product, lifestyle, and marketing content for our ecommerce store, advertising campaigns, and social media channels.


This role combines product photography, videography, and editing for product launches and marketing campaigns by producing ecommerce imagery, lifestyle photos, short-form video content, and video ads used across our website, marketing channels, and paid advertising.


The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, ecommerce product presentation, and understands how to create visuals that perform well across various social media platforms and digital ads. This role owns the end-to-end production workflow, from coordinating samples and planning shoots to editing and delivering completed assets. This is a hybrid position with all photography and filming taking place on-site at our Austin, TX office.


Key Responsibilities


Content Production

  • Photograph products for ecommerce and marketing use (multiple angles, detailed shots, and lifestyle imagery).
  • Capture lifestyle imagery aligned with the CatFace brand and vision.
  • Film short-form video content for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Produce video ads and marketing creatives for digital advertising.
  • Plan and execute photo shoots including lighting, staging, and breakdown.


Editing & Asset Delivery

  • Retouch and edit images with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Create clean cutouts and transparent PNG files for ecommerce.
  • Edit short-form videos and ad creatives.
  • Export assets in correct formats for web, advertising, and social media platforms.
  • Manage file organization and quickly implement feedback and revisions.


Workflow Ownership & Collaboration

  • Manage the photo & video production pipeline for product launches and advertising campaigns.
  • Track photoshoot timelines and deliver assets according to department schedules.
  • Work closely with the Merchandise team to coordinate product samples for photoshoots.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on mood boards, creative direction, and campaign needs.
  • Flag production risks early (missing samples, reshoots, timeline conflicts) to avoid delays.


Events & Conventions

  • Available to occasionally travel for events or conventions to capture product and brand content.
  • Deliver edited assets after events within required timelines.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with product photography (ecommerce or studio).
  • Minimum 3 years experience with videography and video editing
  • Strong photo editing and retouching skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and video editing software (Premiere Pro)
  • Minimum 3 years experience creating short-form social media content
  • Strong organization and ability to manage deadlines
  • Portfolio demonstrating both photo and video work
  • Bachelor's degree in Photography or Videography or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years old
