Position Overview: KCG Companies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee the business-related aspects of wood-framed residential projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination within the construction industry.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget and Cost Management: Maintain accurate project budgets and anticipate future costs to ensure profitability.
  • Trade Partner Coordination: Manage billing processes and ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Project Team Communication: Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders, offering solutions to challenges as they arise.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Develop and manage project schedules to track progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Mastery of Contract Documents: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and project commitments.
  • Miscellaneous Buy Out: Procure necessary project resources and negotiate contracts with external suppliers and trade partners.
  • Attend Project Meetings: Participate in scheduled project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • On-Site Presence: Visit active job sites regularly to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of wood-framed construction project management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to KCG standards and programs while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate diverse teams effectively.
