Job Summary:
SV Design is looking for a personable, motivated, and organized individual to join our Beverly commercial and multi-family team.
This position is ideal for a highly capable designer who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and excels in both the conceptual and technical aspects of design. This is a hands-on position focused on design development, space planning, documentation, and presentation.
Qualifications:
  • This is an in-office position at our Beverly, MA location. Any interested candidate must be within reasonable commuting distance of this location.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design
  • 8-12 years of professional architecture experience with a focus on commercial/multifamily projects
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office are required
  • Experience in space planning, FF&E selection, and finish specification
  • Confident presenter with excellent graphic and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, and documentation
  • Collaborative, team mentality, and open to listening to and considering the views of others
  • Ability to take direction from senior staff
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills and the experience to be efficiently productive.
  • Must take pride in producing high-quality work and be motivated to do your best
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure SV Design's project standards, professionalism, and creativity are conducted for all work.
  • Develop interior architecture design concepts for multi-family and commercial projects
  • Produce detailed construction drawings and 3D models in Revit
  • Execute space planning and layout strategies to meet client needs and building code requirements
  • Select finishes, materials, and interior specifications with attention to performance, durability, and aesthetics
  • Prepare and deliver compelling design presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, and contractors throughout project phases
  • Support the project team in coordinating interior design elements through documentation and production
