Senior Project Manager (Commercial & Multifamily Electrical Construction) – Reno, NV

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Reno market to identify an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Supervise and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project support staff.
  • Coordinate with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractors, procurement, material deliveries, and project documentation.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, general contractors, owners, and design teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project success.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, job cost projections, billings, and project forecasts.
  • Promote compliance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Previous experience managing large commercial and/or multifamily electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior project management staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Commercial construction including office, hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, mixed-use, or other large-scale commercial developments.
  • Multifamily construction including garden-style, podium, mid-rise, high-rise, student housing, or luxury residential developments.
  • Experience managing electrical projects valued in the multi-million-dollar range.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination, prefabrication, and modern construction technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
