Integrated Multicultural Counseling, LLC is seeking a qualified Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in a full-time, remote role. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based and solution-focussed methodologies to create tailored treatment plans for each client.
  • Implement therapeutic techniques that include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-supported practices to address client needs effectively.
  • Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and other applicable compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic treatment for shared clients.
  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and peer reviews, continually refining our therapeutic approaches to elevate care standards across the organization.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and innovations to provide clients with the most current and effective therapeutic interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population within the Eugene, Oregon area, focusing on individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. Clients may present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more, varying greatly across demographics and backgrounds. Our therapists play a crucial role in tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each client, ensuring that their distinct cultural perspectives and experiences are respected and integrated into their treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Oregon.
  • Proficiency in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques tailored to individual client needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
