Job description

The Opportunity:

Wings Over is seeking a District Manager to join our team. As a District Manager, you will lead a team focused on operational excellence in your designated restaurants. This person will share responsibility for locations in the North Eastern US, including MA, NY, and CT.

Day in the Life (includes, but not limited to) :

  • In-store 4-5 days per week, alternating locations as needed
  • Training, coaching, and inspiring all designate locations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and high-quality food ensuring a commitment to Wings Over’s standards
  • Develop store leadership at all levels of store operations through store visits, one-on-ones, development plans, goal setting and coaching
  • Use weekly store syncs to set short-term goals and drive the success of identified long-term goals
  • Build a pipeline of leadership talent to fuel growth and engagement
  • Hit the road to fill in leadership gaps as needed
  • Support new store openings in recruiting, hiring, training staff, and launching new locations, both corporate and franchise
  • Take lead on in-store rollouts of new initiatives, procedures, and promotions to include testing, giving feedback, and continued execution
  • Serve as liaison between store leadership and corporate headquarters
  • Deliver a balanced P amp;L across designated locations, with primary focus on top-line sales, productivity, and production management
  • Drive top-line sales and continuous performance improvement focusing on leading indicators and established key metrics. Must be balanced in the approach of focusing on people, financial, and guest experience metrics equally
  • 50-75% travel as needed to accomplish all tasks
  • Other related duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table:

  • 5+ years of restaurant supervisory experience with 2+ years in QSR
  • 1+ years leading multi-unit stores and managing GMs, or leading a high-volume single unit with 50+ employees
  • Experience managing remotely and traveling for work
  • History of developing talent
  • Demonstrated management of applicable restaurant regulatory areas, including employee safety; Serv-Safe; wage + hour; immigration; food safety
  • A sophisticated understanding of restaurant cost and controls
  • Strong remote and in-person communication skills
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Love for learning, teaching, coaching, and developing
  • A disciplined approach to enforcing accountability in stores
  • A disciplined approach to priority setting with the ability to identify the root cause of store operations and people opportunities, and move quickly to improve performance
  • Availability to travel to support surrounding corporate and franchise locations
  • Self-motivated, action oriented, positive and humble attitude, high level of integrity
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Legal US work authorization
