2nd Shift Screw Machine Operator


Are you a highly skilled machinist with proven expertise in Multi-Spindle Automatic Screw Machines? We need an operator who can set up, run, and maintain complex machining operations to produce high-tolerance metal parts.


Position – Screw Machine Operator

Job Location – Menomonee Falls, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift, 3:30pm to 3:05am Monday through Wednesday, Thursday for OT

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $25 to $32 an hour

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience


Position Details & Core Responsibilities

Key Duties Include:

  • Setup & Programming: Read blueprints/job orders to set up tooling, cams, gears, and controls. Set precise cutting speeds and feed rates for metal bar stock machining.
  • Operation & Inspection: Load 12-foot bar stock, cycle the machine, observe operation, and inspect first runs/samples using micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet print specifications.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot machine issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and sharpen/replace worn tools.
  • Material Handling: Load finished parts onto skids and manage chip removal processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven, hands-on experience setting up and operating Multi-Spindle Screw Machines, including Euroturn equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height stands, and comparators.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with fractions and decimals.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks including standing/bending for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997.
