Position Overview
Mullinax Ford is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our growing multi-store organization. This position supports multiple dealership locations and plays a critical role in ensuring payroll accuracy, employee record maintenance, and administrative compliance.
What You'll Do
- Process and audit payroll for multiple dealership locations
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Compile payroll data including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, PTO, deductions, and garnishments
- Maintain employee records and personnel files
- Coordinate onboarding activities, I-9 verification, background checks, and drug screenings
- Provide administrative support to employees and management
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with payroll and employment regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of payroll experience
- Accounting experience required
- Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
Compensation
$45,000 - $52,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
