Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Middleware administrators monitor server and system performance and maintain detailed documentation about system configurations and settings
  • Implement middleware components like Jboss/Tomcat/Nginx
  • Perform periodic upgrades of middleware software and its dependencies.
  • Administer Azure VM and AWS EC2 services
  • Renewal of TLS certs across Azure and AWS services, like load balancers and Appgateway
  • Running Azure aks services including Azure upgrades and migrations
  • Upgrade JDK Java and Java patching
  • Work with developers to fix bugs or defects in software
  • Work with Mulesoft environment to create load balancers and configure proxy
  • Configure and manage Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Help the application team with deployment and troubleshooting if required
  • Work on-call on the weekends on a rotation basis

Position Qualifications:
  • At least 7 to 11 years of work experience
  • Required skills: Tomcast Application Server, Jboss Application Server, Ngnix Server, AWS, and Azure
  • Must have hands-on experience: Tomcat Application Server (Deployment, Configuration, and upgrade), Jboss Application server (Deployment, Configuration, and upgrade), Nginx server (Upgrade and Configuration), AWS EC2, AWS Load Balance, Azure VM, Azure Appgateway, Azure Devops Working with existing pipelines, Azure AKS Pods Ingress and implementation on TLS/SSL
  • Must know: Firewall and DNS, Azure AKS operations, Azure Vaults, and Messaging systems like IBM MQ
  • Good to have: Mulesoft operations, AWS services (SG, Route52, Beanstalk, s3, RDS, Route table), and Azure Services (Vault App, Registrations, IAM, NSG, Route Tables)
