Job description

About the Role
We're looking for an organized, curious, and enthusiastic PR professional to join our team as an Account Coordinator. If you love following the news, have a knack for keeping things moving, and get excited about helping great brands tell their stories - this might be the role for you.
This is an entry-level position with real responsibility from day one. You'll work alongside experienced PR professionals supporting media relations, client communications, event execution, and reporting across a portfolio of clients in hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, and consumer brands.
What You'll Do
  • Keep accounts running smoothly. You'll be the connective tissue across client accounts - managing calendars, coordinating meetings, drafting agendas and recaps, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Support media relations. You'll build and maintain media lists, monitor coverage, compile clip reports, and help draft press materials including releases and media alerts. You'll also support outreach and pitching efforts as you grow in the role.
  • Contribute to strategy and creative work. You'll research industry trends, competitors, and media opportunities, and bring ideas to team brainstorms. We want to hear what you think.
  • Be on the ground at events. From press previews to brand activations to TV segments, you'll help manage logistics, check in media, and support the team at live events.
  • Be a good teammate. You'll collaborate closely with your account team, track your time accurately, and help mentor interns each semester. Culture matters here, and we look for people who contribute positively to it.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of PR, communications, or agency experience; internship experience counts
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills - you care about the details
  • Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines without dropping the ball
  • A professional, warm communication style with clients, media, and teammates
  • Comfort with (or curiosity about) tools like Muck Rack, Google Workspace, and media monitoring platforms
  • Genuine interest in hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, travel, or consumer brands
