Job description

Valiant is looking for a Knowledge Manager (KM) to join our team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design, review and implementation of the MTC Knowledge Management Plan, including KM Standing Operating Procedures (SOP), annual KM Plans, KM policy development and coordination. * Creation and ongoing management of the MTC's online presence (SharePoint and related web sites on the Non-Secure Internet Protocol, Router Network (NIPRNet), including: * All training event scheduling and tracking for 5 MTC training/operations teams and 3 DPTMS Virtual Simulations training teams.

* Customer outreach and training on the MTC event coordination process. * Applications development and training for internal MTC team processes. * Collection and dissemination of MTC Team SOPs, coordination documents, orders and plans, etc.

* Collection, analysis and presentation of training data related to personnel and system usage; customer satisfaction and feedback; outreach effectiveness and management processes. * Training and consultation on the MTCs KM System (KMS), A365 office productivity software, SharePoint, and training/instructional design. Planning and execution of the MTC's Advanced Software Skills Training Program.

* Creation and deployment of online learning (e.g. eLearning, eBooks, training presentations). * Ongoing maintenance of the MTC's KM Publications Program, KM Quarterly Newsletters and KM Bulletins.

* Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Secret EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: BA/BS in an educational or behavioral science discipline. Military or civilian certification in knowledge management from a recognized institution (preferred) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior military service in a leadership role, or 10+ years' experience in military training (US Army preferred).

* 10+ years as a SharePoint administrator for medium/large military and/or corporate environments. * 10+ years' experience as a knowledge manager in military and/or corporate environments. * Demonstrated proficiency in communications (written, oral presentation, and online authored training).

* Demonstrated proficiency with online authoring systems for computer-based training (e.g., Articulate 360 Studio, Adobe Captivate, etc.). * 5+ years leadership in military training organizations, to include curriculum development, instructional design and training delivery. PREFERRED QUALIFICATONS: 5+ years of training design/delivery in corporate environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
