If your academic session does not begin during these months, your application will not be considered. Please ensure you are applying to the correct posting based on your academic schedule.
Internship Program Overview
Fellowship Recovery is seeking highly motivated Master of Social Work (MSW) students pursuing clinical internship experience within a co-occurring substance use and mental health treatment setting. This internship opportunity is designed for graduate-level students who are required to complete an approximately 880-hour internship placement as part of their academic program.

We are committed to creating an internship experience that is educational, hands-on, and professionally supportive.
Interns work closely with experienced clinical professionals and receive direct support from supervision staff who are intentionally structured without full caseloads in order to provide consistent mentorship, guidance, and clinical development. Our leadership team also includes educators actively involved in addiction studies and behavioral health instruction, allowing interns to gain additional insight into the field from both clinical and academic perspectives.
This internship provides valuable experience in co-occurring treatment, clinical documentation, group facilitation, client engagement, care coordination, and therapeutic intervention within the behavioral health field. Interns will have the opportunity to strengthen skills in trauma-informed care, person-centered approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical clinical practice while working alongside experienced professionals.
Fellowship Recovery is a growing organization, and many interns who successfully complete the program are considered for future employment opportunities upon graduation and licensure eligibility.
This role is part-time and paid hourly at $15.00 per hour for the first 440 internship hours and $18.00 per hour for the remaining internship hours. This position reports directly to the Internship Program Supervisor.
