Job description

EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has an immediate opening for a Field Engineer.
This position is an on-site Field Engineer role for individuals wanting a hands-on experience managing construction quality control, construction means and methods in the construction of electrical substations, transmission lines and renewable energy (solar and wind) collection systems. A Field Engineer provides direct supervision of subcontractor's activities and material receiving on the projects and works closely with project managers.
The position of Field Engineer is a key role in the organization. The Field Engineer is responsible for supporting on-site construction activities, ensuring project specifications are met, collaboration with project teams, and resolution of technical issues. They oversee quality control, track progress, and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. Field Engineers are not assigned to a specific location and are expected to support projects nationwide.
Minimum Requirements: BSCE/BSME or MSCE/MSME (emphasis in structural engineering preferred); excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work in a team environment; attention to detail; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant will be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking and is subject to EPC Services Company's auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
