What are MSDS and what is their purpose?

MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet. These documents provide detailed information about the properties, hazards, safe handling, storage, and emergency procedures related to chemicals or hazardous substances. To thrive as an MSDS Specialist, you need a solid background in chemistry, hazardous materials management, and regulatory compliance, often supported by a degree in a scientific field.
