Position Overview
V-Line Services has an immediate need for a Construction Project Scheduler and Planner in Columbus, OH.
The Construction Project Scheduler and Planner will manage, plan, and update project schedules, while supporting both current and future project plans, submittals, and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will use MS Project and Primavera P6 to develop and maintain detailed project timelines, working closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage detailed, resource-loaded schedules for construction projects using MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Build, evaluate, and optimize project schedules and plans.
  • Monitor project progress, produce reports, and adjust schedules as necessary to stay on track.
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to plan, resolve scheduling issues, and integrate inputs.
  • Mentor and train project managers, foremen, and superintendents on scheduling best practices.
  • Assist in schedule development during preconstruction and proposal phases.
  • Ensure schedules align with safety protocols and federal regulations
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling and planning, especially with federal projects.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Excel.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and federal specifications.
  • Associateโ€™s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to travel (up to 20%).
