Job description

Summary Job Description:

The MRB (Material Review Board) Liaison Engineer is responsible for supporting production and designing repairs as part of the non-conformance resolution process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production operations across multi-platform aircraft programs.
  • Gather information directly on aircraft in order to solve non conformances (from an engineering standpoint)
  • Identify and resolve airframe (structure) and system issues by providing technical support to production.
  • Design repairs (dispositions) in response to non-conformance reports (NCR) raised by quality control.
  • Ensure the application of standard practices in the development of repairs.
  • Design effective and optimal repairs to address anomalies identified on aircraft in production.
  • Maintain aircraft quality, compliance, and safety when developing repairs.
  • Contribute to minimizing product or component failure risks and ensuring passenger safety.
  • Accurately document all actions taken to resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Work closely with other disciplines such as stress analysis, materials and processes, systems, flight sciences, design, methods, quality, and operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Understand AS 9100 standard requirements related to the responsibilities of this position.

  • Familiar with Boeing processes and specifications is a plus
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector is an asset.
  • Knowledge of airframe structures and technical system installation requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with CATIA V5 software.
  • Proficiency in a non-conformance - MRB software.

Job Specifics:

  • Possibility of working day, evening, or weekend shifts.
  • May be required to travel to external client sites
