Move Estimator / Sales Consultant – Senior Moving Services

North Carolina Territory | Field-Based Role

Bluestar Moving Services is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and professional Sales Consultant to join our growing senior moving and relocation team in North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with experience in moving services, senior services, in-home sales, or consultative customer service who enjoys building relationships and helping families during major life transitions.

As a Sales Consultant, you will meet with prospective clients in their homes to assess moving, downsizing, packing, estate sale, and relocation needs. You will serve as the face of the company while delivering a high-touch customer experience built on trust, patience, and professionalism.

This is a field-based position that requires local travel throughout the North Carolina territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled in-home consultations with prospective clients and families
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate moving and relocation services
  • Gather detailed information needed to prepare accurate estimates and proposals
  • Complete inventory and box counts for packing and moving services
  • Build trust and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
  • Address customer concerns and overcome objections professionally
  • Collaborate with the operations and client services teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Represent the company with integrity, empathy, and professionalism
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in moving, relocation, senior services, home services, or consultative sales preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working with seniors and families during emotional transitions
  • Ability to manage multiple appointments per day
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented
  • Experience with in-home estimates or outside sales is a plus
