Position Summary: This versatile position is responsible for safely and efficiently assisting all positions in the fabrication shop. Tasks would include everything from moving and positioning material using overhead cranes and forklifts, to deburring, grinding, part cleaning, assisting on machines, loading/unloading the paint system, etc. Requirements: • Possess a technical education or go through a short training period at TTX. • Be able to add and subtract fractions. • Be able to operate simple machines and power equipment. • Possess some knowledge of or skill in at least one of the following areas: ž - Painting, ž - Punching with power equipment, ž - Oven panel assembly and spot welding, ž - Use of a plasma cutter, ž - Be able to operate a power band saw to cut steel, ž - Plumbing and pipefitting, • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring is a plus • Must be willing to travel up to 25% annually
