Responsibilities
The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking an Academic Neurologist with expertise in Movement Disorders to join our practice.
The Movement Disorders Division is looking for a subspecialty trained, board certified physician with a clinical-research focus. Activities and necessary skills include botulinum toxin injections, DBS programming, and involvement in clinical drug studies.
The division is also actively engaged in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows in the outpatient practice. There are abundant opportunities to accommodate candidates with combined clinical and research interests. Resources include Arizona Study of Aging and Neurodegenerative Disorders (AZSAND) and Brain and Body Donation Program (BBDP), Arizona Parkinson’s Disease Consortium, and more. We are looking for an individual who can bring enthusiasm, leadership, and fresh ideas to our clinical and research practices.
Qualifications
Candidates must be board-certified in Neurology and trained in movement disorders. Candidates must also be eligible for Arizona Medical Licensure.
