Job description

Ground Force/Mega of Albuquerque has an amazing opportunity for a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator will stay accountable to job costing through effective communication both to the account managers, vendors, and production teams. Starting Salary $55k - $60k depending on experience.
The Sales Coordinator is a broad role with the objective to coordinate and oversee the flow of a company's services or products to consumers and production. They also assist account managers with quotes, customer service documentation, and coordinating sales documents for account managers while offering communications to other departments as necessary. Coordinators may lead special assignments for the Executive Team including the General Manager, Sales Director, or President.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate sales documents for regional account managers and communicate to other departments or contractors as necessary
  • Assist account managers with quotes and customer documentation
  • Update sales forecast, new business tracker, chassis tracker, vendor deliverables, ERP information, and assisting with CRM
  • Entering order information into the company database and ERP system. work with internal accounting department on invoices and equipment billing
  • Updating and entering product information and pricing in the ERP system
  • Coordinate schedules with certain subcontractors/license to manufacture partners
  • Hold meetings to start and track progress of jobs (master work authorization, subcontractor progress meetings, and final sales walks as an example of activities)
  • Arrange job cost summaries and report monthly directly to the President and Sales Director
  • Communicate with transport manager for shipping of product
  • Answering client questions regarding their account or sales products
  • Working with staff members from other departments such as Marketing, Research/Design, and Finance to optimize sales.
  • Special projects as needed
  • Occasional travel to attend trade shows or subcontractor visits
  • This is an office-based position

Skills Required:
  • General Microsoft office software and phone systems
  • Customer service oriented (external and internal customers)
  • Office coordination and business administrative skills
  • Communication, prospecting, presentation and negotiating skills, problem solver and creative thinking on ways to streamline processes
  • Experience with client relationships and territory management
  • Motivation to assist the sales process
  • Mechanical aptitude is helpful
  • Experience with mining, construction, or heavy equipment is a plus
  • The ability to accept and offer feedback and work well under pressure
  • To be flexible and open to change
  • Bi-lingual is plus but not mandatory
