Job description

We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to support leasing operations and help guide prospective residents through a positive rental experience. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced property management environment. Tax credit knowledge is required for this role, along with a commitment to delivering excellent service and maintaining compliance with applicable housing program requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Greet prospective residents and provide tours of available apartment homes and community amenities.
  • Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Guide applicants through the leasing process, including application completion, follow-up, and move-in coordination.
  • Verify applicant information and assist with income qualification and program compliance documentation for tax credit housing.
  • Maintain accurate records related to leasing activity, resident files, and compliance documents.
  • Prepare lease agreements, addenda, and related paperwork with attention to detail.
  • Support resident retention efforts by providing responsive service and assisting with renewal processes.
  • Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to help ensure a positive resident experience.
  • Stay informed on community policies, fair housing requirements, and applicable tax credit regulations.
