Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator for the assisted living residents who call our beautiful Raybrook Campus their home.
What Will You Do?
- Be an integral member of the Vibrant Living wellness team, representing the Raybrook Manor Assisted Living residents in collaborative, all-campus events
- Become well-versed in the Vibrant Living wellness model, ensuring there is equal opportunity for social engagement, intellectual discovery, physical wellness, spiritual fulfillment, and emotional well-being programming each week
- Coordinate, implement, attend, and lead relevant, adult-focused, purposeful engagement opportunities, outings, and events
- Continually work to elevate offerings by researching current trends and securing groups/individuals to instruct or perform
- Establish health relationships with residents and resident committees, encouraging them to lead or assist in implementing programming
- Promote programming via printed and electronic methods of communication
- utilize the resident engagement platform to push programming information and updates out to residents
What's required for this role?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of event planning or activity planning experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, residents, and families - requires courtesy, tact, respect, and patience in all situations
- Experience working with older adults
- This role requires the ability to perform moderate physical work throughout the day:
- Set up, rearrange, and move tables, chairs, and other furniture for programs, events, and activities.
- Assist residents during the community outings, including walking extended distances, assisting with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing mobility support as needed
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Some weeks may require a flexible schedule, including occasional evening hours to support special events and programming.
