Job description

If you have at least one year of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, customer service, or warehouse operations and enjoy staying organized while keeping things moving, you may be interested in this Logistics Coordinator position.

This opportunity is with a growing sign manufacturing company that creates custom signage and graphics for businesses throughout the region. In this role, you'll coordinate outgoing shipments, prepare shipping paperwork, communicate with carriers, track deliveries, and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

They're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using a computer, and enjoys solving problems while working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity that offers weekends off, weekly pay, and a consistent schedule. Overtime may be available depending on workload, and the position offers long-term growth potential for the right candidate.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including shipping labels and bills of lading, ensuring order accuracy.
  • Coordinate shipments with parcel, LTL, and local carriers while tracking deliveries and resolving shipping issues.
  • Verify completed orders against work orders, packing slips, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and installation teams to prioritize shipments and support inventory organization.
  • Maintain a safe, organized shipping area while handling and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
 
Schedule: 
1st shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 3:30pm
2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am
Weekend shift Friday – Sunday 6:00am – 6:30pm
 
Pay: $22 per hour 
  • 1st shift: $22 per hour
  • 2nd shift $22 per hour +$2 differential = $24 per hour
  • Weekend shift $22 per hour +$2 differential = $24 per hour
 
Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment such as warehouse, production, logistics, retail, or food service.
  • Ability to follow established processes, perform repetitive tasks accurately, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and frequently lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to access work orders and enter information as needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with a reliable, self-motivated, team-oriented work ethic.
