The successful candidate will assist with maintenance of critical research infrastructure, animal colony support, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining laboratory equipment (e.g., liquid nitrogen storage, CO incubators, freezers), assisting with mouse colony management (including genotyping, animal handling, euthanasia in accordance with IACUC protocols, and detailed record-keeping), and performing mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques such as PCR and sample preparation. Another primary component of this position is to support laboratory organization and research productivity by maintaining inventories, ordering supplies, organizing samples, assisting with experimental setup, and supporting data organization.
