The Phlebotomy Services Tech is responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site. Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test
requirements, and other laboratory information.

What is Enterprise Pool?

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The CommonSpirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the CommonSpirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

Enterprise Pool 1:

  • Base rate + $1.50/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • 1 facility – preferred location/closest to home
    • At least 2 applicable units - Must work in at least 2 applicable units.

Enterprise Pool 2:

  • Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 4 hospitals assigned within that zone.

Benefits:

  • PRN: +15% PRN Differential - Not eligible for benefits
  • Full Time/Part Time: Benefits eligible based on FTE eligibility
Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED- Required
  • Completion of a phlebotomy course- preferred
  • 1 year Phlebotomy experience- preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification- preferred

Physical Requirements
Light Work - exert/lift up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently

Location- This position would be working our South Denver facilities which include 3 facilities in Colorado Springs, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More
