Mold Setter/Die SetterIntroduction:

The Mold Setter/Die Setter plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, specifically in the plastic injection molding industry. They are responsible for setting up and adjusting molds on plastic injection machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust molds on plastic injection machines according to production requirements
  • Monitor and troubleshoot molding equipment and robots during operation
  • Ensure molds are properly installed and secured in machines
  • Collaborate with production team to meet quality and production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements:

Education: High school education or higher

Knowledge: An ability to read and write. Must be able to follow verbal as well as written instructions and measure accurately.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the set-up of molds on plastic injection machines or equivalent. Experience with driving a tow motor is preferred. Must have a current valid Driver’s License.
