Position Summary:

Apply shock building expertise to generate industry leading prototype products for our customers. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous internal and external teams to meet deadlines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform builds, teardowns and provides written reports to support R&D testing efforts under direction of engineering staff.
  • Use a shock dynamometer on a regular basis to assist in builds and tuning.
  • Collects, records, summarizes and maintains data on all work and effectively communicates information to engineering.
  • Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
  • Lead valve code tuning efforts and lab testing as needed.
  • Organize and support offsite field testing with engineering team.
  • Follow current process as well as drive changes to increase efficiency.
  • Key contributor in the R&D process through builds and tuning efforts.
  • Works in a safe manner in accordance with Fox policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Ability to use lathe, mill, saws, etc. is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand data acquisition and data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Computer competency using Microsoft Office.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS graduate or equivalent

AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Experience:

2+ years of automotive shock absorber prototyping or similar experience.

Shock dynamometer experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs.regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

Compensation Range$65,093.34 - $89,503.62

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
