The CGI / 3D Artist is responsible for creating high-impact, AI-enhanced visual content that brings Generac products and solutions to life across digital, print, and motion platforms. This role combines technical expertise with creative storytelling to transform CAD data into photorealistic renderings, animations, and compelling visual experiences. Working closely with Creative, Product, and Marketing teams, the CGI / 3D Artist leverages industry-leading 3D and AI tools to deliver visually stunning assets that support product launches, brand campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
Major Responsibilities
  • Create photorealistic product renderings, environments, and visual assets using Blender, KeyShot, and other 3D visualization tools.
  • Transform CAD files into optimized, production-ready 3D models and assets.
  • Develop realistic lighting, materials, textures, and environments that align with brand standards.
  • Produce high-quality still imagery, animations, and motion graphics for marketing and product initiatives.
  • Leverage AI image-generation tools and workflows to enhance creative development and visual storytelling.
  • Partner with Art Directors, Product Managers, and Marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy and creative excellence.
  • Build, organize, and maintain scalable libraries of reusable 3D assets, materials, and environments.
  • Support product launches, advertising campaigns, and customer-facing content with engaging visual solutions.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Animation, Visualization, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in CGI, 3D visualization, rendering, motion graphics, or related creative disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Blender, KeyShot, SolidWorks, or similar 3D rendering and visualization platforms.
  • Experience working with CAD data and converting engineering files into high-quality visual assets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing AI-powered image generation and creative workflow tools.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, materials, composition, color, and visual storytelling principles.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
