We're actively seeking a talented Sr Motion Graphics Artist join our Creative Services team Team in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Sr. Motion Graphics Artist, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by creating content that speaks to financial professionals as well as consumers. This role is part of the video production team that is responsible for pre-production through post. Applicants should be able to take creative briefs and turn them into storyboards with the guidance of the Creative Director and Video Production Manager. You will be responsible for creating mood boards and pitch elements and will be expected to move from concept to full animation (both hand-drawn and digitally created materials). You will present content to stakeholders and communicate with business partners and executives.

You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of seven people in the Creative Services team within the Consumer Markets Division (CMD). Your colleagues will include Art Directors, Producers, Editors, Graphic Designers, Copywriters and UX Design professionals.
How you will make an impact:

  • Participate in creative brainstorms, mood boards, and pitches.

  • Create eye catching modern motion graphic videos.

  • Help shape the brand look for the future of the department.

  • Have a voice in the way we produce videos.

  • Work with graphic design team to turn designs into video.

The experience you bring:

  • 4-6 years in motion graphics creation for video

  • Expert level After FX artist.

  • Expert level in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere.

  • Understanding of post-production workflows.

  • Ability to turn scripts into full videos from scratch.

What will make you stand out:

  • Understanding of 3D modeling for motion graphics (Cinema 4D, Element)

  • Ability to hand draw storyboards.

  • In depth knowledge of Mac Computers and Network storage.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$93,600.00 - $114,400.00
