WGI seeks a Junior Graphic Designer with up to 3 years experience to join the Creative/Marketing Division in the West Palm Beach, FL office.

The Jr. Graphic Designer will work directly with the Creative Services Manager and other team members to support all company divisions by providing collateral and graphics as needed. A strong command of Adobe InDesign is essential, as this role centers on producing layout-driven materials such as brochures, multi-page collateral, and cut sheets.

  • Create brochures, multi-page collateral, and cut sheets, using existing styles and templates to maintain brand standards
  • Design strong visual layouts and graphics for social media and collateral using Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team and other team members

  • Format and update PowerPoint presentations, as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including character/paragraph styles, master pages, and style sheets
  • Working knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate strong layout and design skills
  • Creative thinker with strong communication, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint (or willingness to learn) and basic familiarity with Microsoft Word
  • Detail-oriented and quality-minded
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn additional skills and grow within the position and department

Minimum Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of experience as a graphic designer or in a similar position
  • Associate degree in graphic design or a related field preferred
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Additional Experience, a Plus:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Project and event photography
  • Image editing experience
  • Knowledge of production and preparation of files for printing
  • Experience in any of the following industries: engineering, construction, survey, landscape architecture, or architecture
