Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics - East Windsor, CT is currently seeking applicants for an Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator on 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Job Summary:

Performs the daily functions of an E-Beam weld machine to produce all WSL parts.Which include reading blueprints and work orders. Set up of the tooling and weld parameters according to the drawing. Performs pre-weld, in-line, and post weld quality inspection. Follows all Quality and EHS policies and procedures. Responsible for recording production output and scrap. Must maintain a clean workstation and adhere to 5S guidelines.

Job Location:

Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT is one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.There are around 25 employees currently working in East Windsor.

What you will be doing:

  • Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds

  • Tooling and machine set-up

  • Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts

  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation / 5S

  • Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications.

  • Troubleshoot tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance

  • Load and unload material using hoist / moving finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack.

What you will bring along:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience

  • Weld Course certification preferred but not required
