Job description

An attractive practice opportunity for Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist, Fellowship trained in Epilepsy preferred.
  • Hours TBD by provider
  • Adult patients only (18 with guardian).
  • 45-minute new patient visits (4 per day max)
  • -minute follow-ups depending upon individual patient needs.
  • -hour call days (neurology and stroke) per calendar year
  • 4 weekend days off call per month
  • No call 3 of the 7 major holidays per year
  • No call on vacation day
  • Available to take phone calls regarding patient care-related issues when not on call.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise various neurology-related programs.
  • Work collaboratively with other physician groups to improve patient and community care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs outside of office hours.
  • Teach/supervise medical students and residents. One medical student and resident at any one time.
  • Provide lectures/training on neurology-related topics 2 times per year.
  • Expectations in common with other employed clinical physicians

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $470,000 includes 10 days of call coverage.
  • Hourly Rate: $225.96
  • Call coverage rate continued per agreement for over 10 days of call:
    • $700 for Stroke Call
    • $1000 Stroke and Neuro call
Production Bonus:
  • wRVU base production 6000
  • Every wRVU earned between 6000 and 8500 will be paid at $65 per wRVU
  • Every wRVU earned above 8500 will be paid at $40 per wRVU.
Expenses
  • Professional Licensure. hospital shall pay Physician s license fees, fees associated with obtaining Physician s DEA permit, fees associated with Physician sitting for board examinations in Physician s specialty, association dues and journal subscriptions as may from time to time be approved by hospital.
  • Professional Meetings: $5000
  • Malpractice Insurance covered.

Paid Time off
  • Per policy every practitioner accumulates PTO equivalent to 24 days a year per policy. An additional 10 days (equivalent to two work weeks) are allocated for professional seminars.
